Gundowring Ice Cream, Company
The best ice cream in the world is made in a place where the air is clean, the water runs crystal clear from the mountains, and cows graze contentedly on lush green pastures.
A peaceful place like the historic 1840’s Gundowring dairying property and homestead in the Kiewa Valley of northeast Victoria, a place where streams, wetlands and abundant wildlife are overlooked by majestic Mount Feathertop.
It is here that fourth generation farmers and concerned environmentalists Sarah and Stephen Crooke and their two sons craft their award-winning ice cream.
They only use fresh, rich, creamy milk from their herd of Holstein cows combined with the best regional and seasonal ingredients, including superb quality locally grown fruit, nuts and honey.
